Complete Firearms Manufacturing

Karl Lippard at the bench

Joseph Brazier has designed and is currently manufacturing the most sophisticated over-under shotgun made in the world today. This new sporting shotgun utilizes many advanced manufacturing techniques and recent innovations. Further, it utilizes interchangeable parts and components and the revolutionary SolidSolid Barrel. Joseph Brazier will continue to produce fine boxlocks and rifles to the sporting firearms trade with the appropriate variations to meet proprietary design queues.

Firearm Parts Manufacturing

Joseph Brazier provides the highest tolerance parts, components, barrels and wood. Offering complete interchangeability to the trade for the first time, our method reduces labor, delivery time and cost of production.

Firearm Engineering Services

Most high quality firearms have been historically made by hand. Often designed over 100 years ago, these fine guns were hand filed to finished shape with little more than notes and repeated efforts as an apprentice.

Today much of this old labor force is gone. Those finely crafted guns considered an asset are no longer made. To continue one must re-engineer the guns that made their names famous and commit those designs to the precision of modern computer aided drafting technology (CAD).
It is estimated that an engineering gap of 25 years exists in the gun trade.

Joseph Brazier brings firearm technology to a new level by melding modern engineering with the art of fine firearm design.

Barrel Manufacturing

Brazier has designed 8 new and very different manufacturing methods that can be applied to all firearm barrels made today - including existing firearms. The material used is unique and is 10 times stronger than steels commonly used today. This high tensile strength reduces product liability.

Our advanced production methods in barrel making render all traditional methods obsolete.

Firearm Wood Manufacturing

Joseph Brazier has developed a new process for wood stabilization which allows, for the first time, the manufacture of highly figured wood by precision CNC process.

While wood is commonly cut on high speed machines today, the end result of highly figured wood is often poor and thus instead made by hand. The Brazier process allows for very difficult wood to be precision cut by CNC and even old wood on existing firearms to be treated, stabilized, and restored.

Consulting

Joseph Brazier provides consulting services, offering feasibility studies, market analysis, production planning and manufacturing advice. Joseph Brazier is currently a consultant for a number of major manufacturers.
