The Joseph Brazier Book Shelf opens today. Many rare and hard to find books can be found in the Parts section catagory. Essential references for the Trade and informed customers.
This fine book suggestion by J. A. Hunter is a must read. A professional hunter in the early days in Kenya, Hunter cropped more animals than most people can hope to appreciate. Like our gone friend Peter Capstick used to say, “Death in the Long Grass” comes early but for the few. J. A. Hunter was one of those few.

Or finding ballistics from an old Kynoch catalog from 1902 can be very beneficial. What as example is the load for a 500/465? A .375 Holland & Holland? Yes, I know what you mean. But I favor both and I DO know where to find that information.

Perhaps your interest lies in the history of where your fine book was bound? Was it at Asprey? Or was it your fine tableware, trophy or fine gun that was made there?
