This is a Grade scale from 1 thru 6 or A through AAAAAA wood. Commonly known as exhibition 6A, the wood should not be used on guns for shooting unless MMC6™ treated. This is where the Joseph Brazier wood process pays off. Before MMC6™, wood like this was either cut by hand or not at all. And still it broke, cracked or warped. MMC6™ reduces that risk by 80%. We will be putting up selections of wood shortly as soon as the site is structured for it but wood like you are viewing as examples would be priced at:
A $250.00, AA $350.00, AAA $450.00, AAAA $750.00, AAAAA $1,000.00 and AAAAAA $4,500.00 for Circassian wood.
MMC6™ treatment is $300.00 per blank/forend. Wood in French Walnut is about the same but less expensive in the higher grades. American Walnut deduct about 40% in prices remembering that this wood is dangerous unless impregnated in the higher grades. Black Walnut is heavy and not really suitable for shotguns. Prices are good on that product however and I have a trick up my sleave to reduce that weight which may in the end make it a new solution to your stocking needs. We do have some very large slabs of Black Walnut for tables, chairs and other applications. Just drop us a note and we can get back to you on your request.
